Hendricks Regional Health – Ambulatory Care center

To provide for the growing medical needs of northern Hendricks County and beyond, Hendricks Regional Health is expanding with a new facility in Brownsburg. The 100,000 square foot retail healthcare center will house an emergency room and immediate care center, lab and radiology services, a comprehensive women’s center, physician offices, a retail pharmacy, specialty clinic and additional retail space.

Healthcare consumers expect ease of access and retail convenience; this project will address the needs and desires of the local community. Separate and clearly marked building entries are provided for the emergency department, the PT/OR department and the main patient & visitor entrance.

The new medical center is a natural extension of the strategic mission to improve the health of the Brownsburg and to bring services closer to the growing population.

Extensive permitting and civil engineering design was needed to develop the 19-acre site to support the ambulatory care center. Sitework design features included new road and utility infrastructure, parking lots, a new helipad, a mobile PET/CT pad, a walking path, site lighting, landscaping, stormater quality treatment units, a stormwater detention pond and a walking path.
